Our Dog Lucky

 In February we learned of a Golden Retriever who needed a home.  Ironically not long before that I'd been thinking that it would be nice to have another golden since they are such a wonderful and loving friend.  We inquired about this one,  he was available and came to live with us. 

He's a great companion when it comes to getting in my walking exercise!! This picture was taken on one of our walks.  It wasn't long before he proved he was going to stay near me so there's no longer a 
leash involved so now 1 mile for me is 3 for Lucky. 
 

He likes to spend his mornings out on the front porch checking out the view - there might be deer or horses to keep track of, maybe a bunny or two.  Evenings he finds the couch to be quite comfy & when he's had enough snuggling time he gives me a push to let me know the couch is all his!!   He's a sweet guy for sure and we're so happy he's come to our house.  It was indeed a Lucky day for Lucky and for us :-)
